Pvt Raymond L Gehres (Cuz) was born in 1917 in Pleasant Mills, IN.  He moved to Osseo at the age of 9.

Graduated from Osseo High School in 1936.  He was a WWII vet, serving in the Costal Anti aircraft Artillery, 53rd Training Battalion at Fort Bliss, Texas from Aug 30, 1944 to March 12, 1945.  Upon discharge he returned to Osseo where he worked at the United Milk Plant for 12 years, and then as a postal worker until ill health forced his retirement.  He passed away August 21, 1963.
