Unit CO I 350th Infantry Regiment 88th Division/ American Expeditionary Force (France)
Inducted at Carrington, N Dakota and sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa to begin recruit training the the 163rd Depot Brigade. In 1981 he joined CO I 350th Infantry Regiment of the 88th Division which was deployed overseas to France as part of the American Expeditionary Force.
The Myhre family wanted to sponsor this paver in memory of this kind man who was a farm hand for us and many area farmers. Joe became a family member while working for us and helped to build the present farm house. Many local people might remember him working at the Si Johnson Hardware Store. We thank Joe for his service to our country.
